Public Transport:

Bus

  • Bus stops right near Leeson Street / Lower Leeson Street – you can walk from here in just a few minutes. Several Dublin Bus routes serve these stops including the E1, E2, 7B, 11, 37 and more, depending on the direction you’re coming from.

  • Other buses such as X1, X2, X26, 120A, 126U also pass close by around Leeson Street Lower and Earlsfort Terrace depending on route/time.

 

Luas

  • The Luas Green Line is the nearest tram line. The closest stop to Leeson Street Lower is Harcourt (about a 7-8 minute walk) or St Stephen’s Green (around 6 minutes on foot).

  • The Green Line runs through the city centre and then south toward Sandyford / Brides Glen.

 

Train / DART

  • While there’s no train station right on Leeson Street, Pearse Street DART & Irish Rail station is within walking distance (about 15 minutes on foot) and offers frequent services along the coast and to other parts of Dublin and surrounding areas.

 

Other Options

  • Dublin Bikes docking stations are available nearby if you prefer cycling short distances.

 

Taxis 

  • Taxis are easy to catch in this area and operate widely throughout central Dublin.

  • Car Parking options include: Q‑Park St Stephens Green and Q‑Park Dawson Street.

Getting here from Dublin Airport: 

  • The Aircoach 700 is the easiest public transport option. You get dropped off near St Stephen’s Green and it’s a short, pleasant walk to Leeson Street.​

  • A taxi is the other most direct option.
